Welcome to The Lamb Family web page. It is our privilege to bring the Lord Jesus Christ glory by playing as a violin ensemble. God has blessed us with tremendous opportunities to share His music and program with a variety of people in unique places throughout the southeast. It is our desire to give you Music with a Message. We look forward to bringing our music to you!

The Lambs have come a long way since picking up the violin as preschoolers. Karis, 20, is now a junior at the University of Alabama, where she is a violin performance major. Kiemel, 18, also a UA violin-performance student, has begun her freshman year. Meanwhile, the younger siblings are making high marks of their own. Kolson, 15, and Caleb, 13, are members of Tuscaloosa Chamber Strings, where Kolson has taken the reins of concertmaster. Kiemel previously served as concertmaster for the chamber group and Karis, for its predecessor, Tuscaloosa Youth Orchestra. All three sisters are members of the prestigious Alabama Huxford Symphony Orchestra. They were selected to perform on an October 2004 segment of From the Top, a National Public Radio program that showcases young classical musicians.

The highlight of the Lambs’ busy 2007 calendar was a double performance for the second-term inauguration festivities of Alabama Governor Bob Riley. They also provided musical enjoyment for other dignitaries.

The Lamb Family phenomenon has caught the attention of national and regional media outlets, including television talk shows, news programs and radio broadcasts. The Rick and Bubba Show has interviewed family members on three occasions. The Lambs have also been widely covered in print media, notably in the following magazines: Southern Living, Alabama Weddings, Tuscaloosa Magazine, Alabama Alumni, Alabama Southern Bride, Tuscaloosa Bridal Directory, Woodmen of the World, Jubilation, Tuscaloosa Christian Family, and Alabama ALIVE.

The Lamb Family Violin Ensemble is in great demand throughout the southeast and play a variety of music styles including sacred, classical, pop and fiddle tunes. Performance venues for the “Three Lambs and a Ram,” range widely. They include churches, corporate events, weddings, a variety of special events, packed sports arenas, and the personal-touch settings where the siblings share their love and their gift of music with those confined to hospital beds and nursing homes.

Wherever they perform, the siblings exude excitement and offer a life-changing experience to all who hear them. Their inspirational message and dynamic music engage audiences of all ages.

PSALTERIUM is the Lamb’s third studio recording. Their previous releases are Music with a Message and Christmas with the Lamb Family.
