Well, everything can be pretty much summed up in my chief desire and goal: I want to change the world! I absolutely love politics and plan on running for state representative as soon as I graduate, if the Lord wills. However, I am a violin performance major and will focus on my music for now... : ) I also really enjoy football, and am looking forward to the coming season-ROLL TIDE!!! Reading is a favorite pastime, but I enjoy doing anything that involves people and is uplifting. I will try just about anything once and am so excited to begin this new chapter of life.... cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store!

Well, my first semester at BAMA has begun, and I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus, the Nazarene, MY Savior. I wonder how He could love me: a sinner, condemned, unclean. However, He has showered me with His "charis", and I am so completely in love with Him that I can hardly see straight. My vision is blurred in the all-consuming light of His glory. I am overwhelmed with my insufficiency, inability, and total lack of strength, but am overcome with His insurmountable power, might, and sovereignty. Wow, wow, wow- to God be the glory. I'm holding on for the ride of my life!

Oh Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Thy name in all the earth! The days are flying by.....the time is passing....but God is so incredibly near! He has taken my heart, shattered it into a million pieces, and then proceeded to put it back together again, knitted even tighter in His love. I’ve learned that no matter how much you think that what you have planned is in the will of God, He might have something completely different in store. After all, what is a journey without a few left turns here and there? When all else is said and done, even if you are left standing all by yourself on a road not widely traveled, He is there holding your hand, and when you are too weary to walk, He is there to carry you in His arms. Never will you feel more completely satisfied, more totally fulfilled, than in the arms of Jesus. So we can smile-the longings in our soul, the desires of our heart, they can be fulfilled....Christ is waiting to be your all in all!

Oh God, You are my God, and I will ever praise you! I will sing to the Lord a new song, for He has heard my cry! Right now, "I'm on top of the world, looking down on creation, and the only explanation I can find, is the love that I've found ever since YOU'VE been around; YOU'RE what's put me at the top of the world." And the crazy thing about this, is the overwhelming fact that with God, we can always be on top of the world, no matter what kind of valley we may be going through...kind of ironic...
